In addition to the tasks, duties and powers mentioned in the Constitution, other tasks, duties and powers of the Council shall be as follows:-
(a) to recommend for a parliamentary hearing for the purpose of sub-section (1) of Article 292 of the Constitution for the appointment of officers,
(b) Among the persons recommended under Clause (a), to recommend to the President for appointment a person who has come in writing without hindering the appointment from the Legislature-Parliament Secretariat,
(c) To prepare records of persons who have qualified for recommendation according to clause (a),
(d) Keeping the record of appointment, term of office, vacancy, re-appointment etc. updated.
